Equine Physiotherapy

Regular, maintenance physiotherapy can benefit all horses regardless of work level or discipline. Physiotherapy helps to ensure that your horse is comfortable and can identify and help resolve subtle problem areas before they impact performance.

Minor changes in behaviour and performance may indicate that your horse is in need of a physiotherapy session. Horses are very stoic and often express pain in behavioural changes; a physiotherapy treatment helps to relieve pain therefore positively impacting behaviour and performance.

Physiotherapy is important in rehabilitation to restore and improve the function of your horse's musculoskeletal system and address any compensatory issues. Working closely with vets and other professionals, physiotherapeutic treatment can help strengthen your horse following lameness, surgery or box rest.
