Terms and Conditions
Fields Veterinary Physiotherapy is a fully qualified, insured veterinary physiotherapist and member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapy (NAVP).
It is a legal requirement under The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1996, for animals with a previous medical history to have consent from their veterinary surgeon prior to initial assessment.
Fields Veterinary Physiotherapy reserves the right to refuse treatment to any animal if deemed to be inappropriate or unsafe; this may include undiagnosed lameness, infectious disease or other health and behavioural concerns.
Cancellation

Cancellation less than 24 hours incur a 50% charge.

If your animal has a contagious disease, appointments must be rescheduled.
Your obligations

You confirm that you are the legal owner/loaner of the animal referred for the treatment and that the information provided on the consent form is correct.

Whilst every care is taken for the animal undergoing treatment, all animals receive treatment at their owner’s risk.

We ask that you keep us informed of developments or changes in your animal’s behaviour or condition, including recent veterinary appointments and changes in medication.

Take full responsibility in declaring and warning the physiotherapist against potentially dangerous or harmful behaviours which may be elicited by the animal in question.

Ensure the working area is safe and the animal is fully prepared.

Horses must be dry and brushed clean with visible mud removed to allow effective assessment and treatment

Dogs must have a clear area to allow physiotherapy treatment lying down and access to a lead.
Payment terms

Services must be paid in full on the day of treatment, or prior.

Payment is accepted by cash or bank transfer.

In the case of claiming physiotherapy treatment from your insurance company, you must pay for appointments upfront. I will then send a claim form to your insurance company and your insurance company will compensate you for the costs of treatment. It is recommended to check your policy before booking an appointment.
Privacy policy

Client details are bound by the client confidentiality law within the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966.

Fields Veterinary Physiotherapy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation
Data will be kept for up to 7 years, as needed for insurance purposes and will be used by Fields Veterinary Physiotherapy for communication with you, your animal's veterinary surgeon or other veterinary professionals involved in their care.
